The following GPUs are confirmed to work without an adapter:

AMD: RX 6000 series, RX 6950 XT Founders Edition, and 7000 series cards
Nvidia: RTX 20XX series cards
If you own an RTX 30 series, RX 7000 series, or newer, you will need the Sony adapter, as these cards do not have VirtualLink support.

For some reason it’s lagging for me I try to play a game and the ms is high and on blade and sorcery the GPU time less frame says 400 which is crazy

I have to turn down my super sampling in steam vr when using the psvr2. For some reason it sets the resolution way to high by default and my frame times go through the roof. RTX 4080 and no issues with my index this just happens on my PSVR 2

Could my adapter be bad? I have extreme wobble and during the play area setup I see the floor pattern moving as I move my head. I also see my walls moving around as I move my head, while your pattern on the floor looks static.

I just found this video after already ordering an HDMI to Display-port cable... my laptop doesn't have a Display-port and the USB-C port worked but is connected to my integrated GPU so it ran like crap.

I wanna ask, why wouldn't that cable work?
The cable I bought is specifically HDMI 2.1 to Display-port 1.4, and I specify this because most cables online are Display-port to HDMI but I got one with a special power port that allows it to covert the other way around.
I also specifically got an HDMI 2.1 so it can fully utilize my HDMI port because that's the one connected to my dedicated GPU, and I just don't get how it wouldn't work.
It's specifically made to covert the HDMI signal into a Display-port so why couldn't it send the data and allow the adapter to function?
