Five minutes after I received my headset I was complaining of how blurry it was probably because I’m used to the first generation headset but after watching your video I ran downstairs tried it out again, but I seated the band a lot lower and it work perfect man you are a lifeSaver

Here's a tip that helps finding the sweet spot, use the pass through mode and look at the text, if it's blurry on top move the headset up, if it's blurry on the bottom, move the headset down.

Great video! Just want to clarify for any new VR users... "extremely sharp" is very subjective. To someone well-versed in VR, extremely sharp means something much different than someone who has only gamed on 4K TVs. The TV is always gonna look better because it's so far away that you can't see pixels. In VR, the screens are super close to your eyes, so extremely sharp won't be crystal clear. However, it should still look amazing. It just takes time to find the sweet spot (It's my third day having it and every day it looks better because I'm getting better at finding the sweet spot + I'm getting used to playing VR again)

The best video I have seen on YouTube to help people who have blurriness. I spent some time during setup and have had no issues. I am blown away! Thank you Bryan for being the best resource out there for everything PSVR

The importance of the eye tracking calibration being done properly cannot be overstated. Also for some reason it does "decalibrate" itself sometimes. I was confused because last night Horizon looked perfect, and now it seemed blurry. Then tried recalibrating again (even though technically the calibration _should_ be correct) and everything went to 4K glory.

Fortunately I’ve had no issues with visuals, absolutely loving my purchase, after not picking up my OG PSVR in over a year, PSVR 2 has renewed my love for VR, I can’t wait to find out what this new generation of hardware will bring us, we’re already off to a flying start!

The extra time taken to find the sweet spot is one of the few negatives I have found for PSVR2. But once you get it it looks amazing, and it gets quicker once you know what you're doing.

The brightness adjustment was a game changer, I really thought it looked fantastic before but tweaking the brightness made it super clear

I think the problem was that most VR newbies, like me, thought the games would look like the 2d content that is being played out on the TV. But now I know that's not the case, and that's ok with me

Take a few minutes to perfectly calibrate. Especially the tilt of the headset, so back band is snug on back of the skull and eye proximity is perfect and level for your IPD and tracking. When you find the clear visual sweet spot for yourself, text will be sharp for example. After that, you'll always find it again and it will feel routine to calibrate it dead on and stay comfortable for hours.
Enjoy 💢💢

Ran through your troubleshooting advice and boy did it ever help. I'm completely enamored with performance of this thing. The PSVR2 is where it's at.

I took me also a Day to get the sweet Spot. At first in GT7 i really could not See the Text clearly. I was dissapointed and thought to myself it can't be that blurry. I took my time did all the settings again and changed the postion how to weart the Headset and boy this was the game changer. I played GT7 and Horizon and Kayak VR and IT looks amazing. I love it. The more i play the better it gets. Thank you for your Video. Did not know that you can get into that Meu with doubletap on the PS Button

It’s a huge improvement over the VR1 which I got on day one. Which was still very good back in the day. I got the VR2 on pre order day. The issue I am having is with how uncomfortable it is on my forehead. The VR1 was fine. I have bought a head band from Amazon that I wear 😂, I’m no Boris Becker. Even with the head band it leaves heavy marks on my forehead. I did play for longer around hour and a half. It’s going to take a bit of time to dial it in. But the games are definitely an improvement. Specially with the controllers with the harp tic feedback. I bought the move controllers for VR1 which I payed a lot and used a few times. I believe that is a big step forward in VR gaming. But hopefully the Vr3 will be even better wireless, and better quality like 4k, 4k cinema. Let’s hope I’m still alive 😂 and have the money.

I just got my PSVR2 today and im blown away! But i have experienced some blurriness. I watched this video and realized that you mentioned having the lenses as close to your eyes as possible! That fixed it!

If you want another tip for PSVR unrelated to display: Put a sponge between the back of your hand and the loop of the controller. Now you're all stuck in there snug and comfy and don't need to hold onto the controller at all times. Reduces strain a lot.
It's BY FAR the most comfortable "knuckles" controller out there with this simple 10 cent mod. Try it out. You can even use multiple sponges to really pack your hand in there in the position that makes the most sense for the sticks.

The Globular Cluster CMP2 comfortable mod for the PSVR2 is the best and the ultimate solution for the PSVR2 sweet spot problems, I installed yesterday on my psvr2 and my sweet spot problems are definitely gone, everything is clearly now without any blurriness and it keeps the headset in place and it doesn't move anymore like it did before with the stock sony psvr2 pads, i don't have to keep adjusting the headset anymore because it stays and keeps everything in place no matter how much you move your head, I'm really happy with it, and i definitely recommend it 💯%

My problem is that on my headset is that the sweet spot is super small, like a pea inside of a golf ball. This makes it super clear in this “pea area” but outside of that it gets blurry. This means that if I look at an object straight ahead it is super clear until I move my head just a tiny tiny bit in any direction while still looking at the same object as before. Might be something wrong with how my face/eyes are constructed but I don’t think so. And oh, I’ve tried everything mentioned in the video and more, spent a lot of time trying to make the sweet spot bigger, but can’t. Love the headset, but want to try another one out to see if there is any difference. Great video anyways 🔥🔥🔥

Excellent Tutorial and guidance. People might misunderstand the wording - Crystal Clear, it is a gorgeous display but people need to know there is a softness to the visuals. I have been tempted to create a visual a timeline of visual perception. That is on one side of the scale you might have a image of you looking underwater (blurry) all the way up to a 4K Oled tv (Sharp), holding your phone a little too close to you face where it starts to blur might be closer to what we see in PSVR2. Besides all this as a new VR user, I highly recommend it. Looking at some of the content here on this video you get a sense of the softness of the display. Keep up the great content.

Bryan, please do a review video of the PSVR2. All this time, I've been waiting for your opinion on everything, because you are the only source I really trust in this area.
