Cook from the end of 2010 to about 2013 was simply impossible to get out at times. Australia, England, India, UAE he performed in all conditions. One of the modern greats.

As an English cricket fan I must say I really love the Australian cricket Youtube channel. They show good cricket, whether that of their own or their opponents. Contrast this to the ECB channel which only ever shows English cricket, it is honestly embarrassing.

Much Respect.

Cook destroyed Australia on this tour, something like 750 runs in total. Beast mode activated.

This was one of the finest innings I have watched from an English batsman in a second innings on a hostile condition in Gabba.

It's not until you see our current openers you realise just how much this is missed by us Poms. Best test opener this century for my liking, and best player in world in 2010/11.

One of the best innings on foreign soil.
Imagine going to the field thinking you've got the match in the bag and then 2 days later the scoreboard reads 500 something for 1.

Great job Cricket Australia, it’s heartening to see how they appreciate the opponent players. It’s hard to see that from Indian cricket.

Never get bored off watching cook bat he was magical the sound his bat makes when he hits it just beautiful timing.
Also noticed he emptied the stadium off Aussies haha.

This was the best Ashes series I've ever seen so far. England completely dominated the Australians as they had no answer. All 3 wins by an innings margin.

Cook really flourished late in his career. He was already good, he became fantastic later.

Watching this during lockdown, great to see his lordship in full flow, and how nice to hear the roar of the crowd again...

As an Englishman, Mr Cook is my favourite cricketer of all time, closely followed by James Anderson.
