MHW Iceborne - GUIDING LANDS special gathering system explained + augment material farming

A quick iceborne breakdown of what I've discovered regarding the Guiding lands. These are a new endgame area with a special gathering node system which is needed to augment your weapons, and it's these gathering points which are the focus of this guide

What you didn't mention is to prevent resetting the bar, to not mine the whole node. If you have geologist and can gather 4 times, do it only 3 times and let the node despawn/respawn. That way you can farm the two highest materials in a more sustained way.
If you desperately need one of the highest rarity, you can still do the whole reset thing and start over.

this guide is good, kudos to you. I just pick up Iceborne and entered GL after 4 days completing main DLC story and optional.. The way you show your red marker on ur minimap for your farming routes helps me alot...liked and subed!!!

The Giant version doesn't replace a regular spawn. It has its own unique spawn points. I've seen a couple places in each region, so its not always in the same spot you first find it. Good video/map tho.
