I love your personality. Your not only brilliant, your entertaining. Love your hats. A colorful individual in all arenas. To take your time and knowledge to freely help people in such an important time in their lives, I just think is awesome. For the life of me I can't understand the trolls or just plain mean and abusive people. It's sad they have nothing better to do. If they have the time to abuse others who help people freely, they could take a page from your book, and find something they could do to help others. Keep up the fantastic help for others, much respect ❤

Sorry i’m so dumb. So when SS automatically switches me from ex spouse benefits, to widow-do i continue to get reduced rate or does it automatically go to 100% widow benefits?

If WEP is taken out of my SS will it also be taken out of widow benefits?

I started drawing widow’s benefits at 60. Can I draw it until 65 or 67 & then begin to draw my own benefits?

Can you get widow benefits if you’re not married anymore? I qualify for ex spouse but I’m not sure about widow benefits in an ex spouse.

I’m a widow. We were married 14 years before he passed. I also have an exhusband, married 13 years.
I heard someplace I can choose who I want to draw from. Is this true?

Will my wife drawing her SS at 62 impact her benefiting from my SS if/when I die before her? And it will impact my benefits?

Widow benefit is 100 percent at 62 ? Or at 67

Again, if your ex has his own biz and deducts so much that his SS at FRA is $999, you’re still screwed if your SS is higher.

You get a 100% of what your deceased spouse took if you wait until your full retirement age, so if he took early retirement you will only get what he’s taking

You do realize that the retirement age is now working its way up to 67, stop talking about 65 as full retirement age. My husband just turned 65 and his full retirement is 66 and 10 months.
