Luke or Anakin Skywalker Lightsaber?! #starwars #lightsaber #galaxysedge

Quick glance at the two Skywalker lightsabers on offer from Disney Galaxy’s Edge.

The one on the left is the original ‘Luke Skywalker’ version of the lightsaber used in A New Hope and The Empire Strikes Back.

It was technically also used as Rey’s lightsaber in The Force Awakens and The Last Jedi before being modified and used in the Rise of Skywalker.

Both sabers are very well done by Galaxy’s Edge and are a great addition to the Legacy Lightsaber line.

I didn’t realize that Luke’s and Anakin’s were so different

For those who don't know according to star wars comics Anakin's lightsaber was damaged in ROTS so obi-wan did some changes in it to fix the light saber and Luke did the same thing before giving it to Rey bcz it was damaged in ESB

I guess in a way you have to wonder if obiwan had modified Anakins saber for Luke. It looks more weathered too

Versions of Anakin ep3 and Luke ep5, there is still the version of Luke from Ep4 in relation to 5 changes the trigger of the Lightsaber!

I grew up with the revenge of the sith saber with the amount of toys they sold of that version, and that being my favorite saber, but the original, which is the ESB, has way better history within star wars and having a belt clip from the bottom of the hilt was probably one of the best parts of having a lightsaber cause its just hanging down from your belt. But in this debate, i think im gonna have to choose both cause they awesome details. But if anything, episode 2 anakin hilt would win once they give out that legacy saber soon
