V Rising How To Make Whetstone - Where To Get Whetstone In V Rising

Getting Whetstone in V Rising is very easy and my suggestion is to just get it by killing mobs.

On a side not the grinder is how you get stone bricks. I may release a video specifically on that as I see people are confused there.

It's a Catch 22 unfortunately, you need whetstones to make whetstones which in all honestly seems kind of silly. Your expected to get your castle up and running but you cant because you need these and the only place that had them had like level 28-30 mobs in it. So what are you meant to do besides die? Just doesn't feel very well put together.

Very true, but now I need 32 whetstones for my weapons, I think 12/20 for my armor, and like 16 for miscellaneous stuff. Sooo the recipe will become important later

If ppl have challenges getting whetstone for me a tip would be try to kill the boss that grants you the crossbow and boss that gives shockwave ability and boss that gives frost shot.
For me the bandits like to stay together so if you aggro one then you aggro the others. Depending on space you can’t kite much or else you may either get into a bad corner and/or aggro other mobs.
So with crossbow get in position to pop Q then shockwave then frost bolts. The aoe damage will either kill the weaker ones or drastically drop enemy hp to half or lower. If get close then of course switch to preferred melee weapons then repeat the process when abilities are off cooldown. Plus frost shots help CC any enemy that likes to close gaps like the rogue or shield bandits that stun you. The reason irs challenging is you can’t get in close because of those two known adds I mention. If get stun by one of them then you screws if rest of their buddies gang up on you. So you need to maintain distance and aoe down best you can.
With majority gone it’s easy pickings to gather mats needed before they respawn.
