My favorite snippet of the full Live 8 rehearsal happens at the end of the song Wish You Were Here. Both Roger and David take several alternating turns at telling Nick how to end the song. Each trying to take charge. When both are finally satisfied, Nick says, "Sold to the man in the blue shirt." Nick. Ever the diplomat. Both Roger and David were wearing blue shirts. 2 alphas and one peace keeper.

Absolutely Awesome music I've been listening to since i was 8, I'm 60 now and they still have my love of everything Pink Floyd.
Roger and David, even though you don't get on, together you are awesome, apart still awesome!

"Wish You Were Here" is Floyd's 9th studio album, released in 1975. And 47 years on, it still rocks! If you're into the old stuff, look out for "Animals" 1977.

One of the best bands to ever exist.
The entire Pink Floyd: The Wall movie messed with my head for a long time.
I love the animation, but the one that stuck with me is “The Trial.” That freaks me out to this day, and I saw it at a young age, so that’s probably why. Seeing a giant ball sack with legs would scare anyone.

Every time I hear that beautiful solo at the beginning of “Wish you were here, ” it brings back so many memories with my father, and I tear up. He used to play it when I was a kid.
He is the most talented guitarist I have ever known personally. With the exception of my brother. They are both insanely gifted.

I have been to several concerts from late 60s
hrough to present day,
I would love to see the band once again. Hope they tour Vancouver Canada again. We Love The Band and the sum of all parts. Have seen David Nick and Richard
few times, as well as Roge n his own. I ❤ David to play Vancouver Canada again I gre up with Pink Floyd and listen to music 🎵
daily . It would thrill and delight me.
