Opinions about Joss aside, the numbers are amazing for the Nevers. It’s an original show that is not half as popular as the Justice league. And it hit over 1.4 million when ZSJL hit 1.8 million (and that was in a week). That’s unbelievable for an original show especially seeing that people didn’t like the director and have been bashing him for months.

People need to remember no one in the general public had any interest in the justice league reboot, the Snyder fans are such a tiny tiny minority, but in most things the loudest on Twitter, if the film was was in the cinema it would have been a massive flop, the public are totally indifferent to the film

Whedon actually finished season 1 of The Nevers. They just brought in another show runner to help with post production. It's quite telling that NO ONE from any of Whedon's other projects outside BTVS & JL have any complaints about the guy. BTVS was an infamously troubled set, as was the JL reshoots. I REALLY think this whole "controversy" surrounding him is just a handful of negative stories being amplified. The majority of his colleagues seem to love working with him. That's always a good sign. I hope this shitstorm blows over like it did for James Gunn & he can go back to work!
