I remember that I, someone who read the comics, kept telling my parents that Glenn was going to get batted. And they swore up and down “No. No. They wouldn’t do that to Glenn.”

Deb having feelings for Dexter is what ruined the show--not her catching him in the act.

The problem with HIMYM wasn't the mother's death. That's just life, it doesn't go your way. The problem was Ted getting back together with Robin.

Game of Thrones didn’t have just one singular point where it went off the rails: Dany torching King’s Landing, Bran being King, the Long Night ending after like 2 hours, forced Winterfell drama in season 7, killing Barristan Selmy in season 5, Dorne. It really got to a point where the writers had no idea what to do when they ran out of source material. Though they could have stretched season 5 into at least 2 seasons and it would have made more sense.

I thought I could take any death in walking dead especially after Hershel...but Glenn took it to another level. Everything felt so hopeless after that

I feel Steven Yeun deserves a lot of credit for his portrayal of Glenn, he was supposed to be that not-so-important side character that got killed off halfway, but he made Glenn so endearing in the show that by the time Glenn was supposed to die, nobody around me felt or saw it coming except for those who had knowledge of the comics' story and were keeping mum. Everyone was so shocked at the atrocity and I even felt angry that the writers would do that to one of the core members haha. From then on, the show started to die out for me and I eventually stopped watching altogether. Later on they even killed off Carl. Jesus

Although there were still funny moments and even good episodes afterwards, Michael leaving The Office was when the show - for all intents and purposes - ended

Fans: STICK TO THE COMICS!
TWD: Sticks to the comics

If they ended HIMYM with just the mothers death (as they did in the alternative ending) it would have been a great bitter sweet ending to a great show. But destroying Barney and Robin's character arc was the worst mistake they did.

It wasn't the death of Glen for me, it was that Negan became inconsistent. The rule was he'd kill them if they disobeyed him, but then he just stopped following that rule, which meant Glen didn't need to die.

Rick leaving is what killed the walking dead for me. If he was simply a supporting character i wouldn't have cared as much, but that was the protagonist. A show like that feels awkward without one

The end of the walking dead was the minute that Rick Grimes was taken away in the helicopter. Losing the main character just leaves people feeling like they have lost themselves, and all story after that just feels forced and all over the place.

Heroes was a very unfortunate victim of the writers strike. I remember vividly being so unbelievably disappointed with where it went 😞

The fall off from the Glen death was so widespread lol. I thought it was just me that stopped but then all of my friends stopped watching, too.

Glenn being killed was truly sad, disturbing, and disrespectful all at the same time

When Mulder left the show was the breaking point for me in X Files.

Glen being mercilessly beaten to death killed that show for sure, there was no coming back no matter what some fans that stuck around try to say

You forgot to mention that the Cordy/Connor thing was 'revenge' on Joss Whedon's part because the actress has the audacity to get pregnant and want to keep her child. Hence the heinous story arc.
