This is an awesome take on the Necronomicon...I like the aspect that each translation grimly reflects the era that it was created in while losing none of its original content or impact. The classic take on the multiple translations is that each subsequent translation became more paraphrased and watered down, as though the translators were horrified by the material they were working with.
