The Shams Ma’Arif. Literary Orientalism or reality? According to the cosmic horror novelist HP Lovecraft, during the 8th century, the notorious Yemeni poet Abdul Alhazred wrote one of the most powerful books on wizardry ever to have existed known as Al Azeeth or The Necronomicon. This book could summon djinn and even open gateways to other dimensional plains. Could the Necronomicon be real or is it just a fantasy, as over the last 1000 years five books (including Lovecraft’s version) could have existed, and might still exist today in the text known as the Shams Ma Arif.

Do not try under any circumstances searching the book of the sun of greater knowledge or El Azif. You won't off course find the original copies but even those in the market could be very harmful. This is not a game of dare. Some people may think of this things as a joke or legends (if only they were) and try to make it a challenge or a dare and there are some who thought the same and purchased those books, well let's just say three things happened: some went to a mental hospital and didn't came out, some just disappeared and were never seen again, some died because they either suicided for they couldn't stand what they exposed themselves to or they were killed.
Some people who read those books nothing happened to them the first days or even weeks but eventually something do happen to them.
ALSO do not try to search and study the realm of the Djin or anything associated to them, it may seem harmless at first but each time you discover something you will want to know more and eventually you may want to explore and experience what you learned and when you try to take a step back it will be too late that even the Pope will not be able to save you.
Those books and studies will only bring you misery and harm you and your family.

The beauty of Lovecraft's writings is that they take these bits of ancient folklore and history and reinvent them into dark tales that have a sense of truth about them. Hence why they feel disturbing or frightening, especially to the people who first read these works back in the early 20th century. Most good horror does this, like Dracula, Frankenstein and tales about werewolves. These all have enough historical basis to bring out the horror. Lovecraft just went back much further using, what was then, newly found relics and writings from ancient Mesopotamia and ancient Egypt and the opening of the Middle East after WWI, using that sense of the exotic and unknown to strengthen the horror in the story.

Fun fact. In several of his stories, Lovecraft refers that there is a copy of the Necronomicon in the National Library of Buenos Aires, Argentina. I have a friend who worked for many years in that library, and he once told me that over the years, several people went to the library looking for the Necronomicon, claiming that there had to be a copy there.

If this history was taught in schools, students wouldn't say they hate history so much

The fifth book is really cursed .. the sheer mention of its name caused a chill down my spine and stray dogs at that moment started howling in my neighbourhood.
Allah, please save us. Let the words of our Prophet(pbuh) be the ultimate.

Your voice should narrate all videos in the future instead of a computer generated voice.

The Mad Arab “Abdul Al-Hazred” author of the Necronomicon, was a childhood Alter Ego of HP Lovecraft’s. He himself always scoffed at those who insisted the Necronomicon must be a real book, he made it up for use in his stories, he was always up front about this.

But he grew up loving “the thousand and one Arabian Nights” and was fascinated by stories of thieves, monsters, djinn, ancient secrets and lost cities in the desert. The influence of Middle Eastern cosmology on his imagination is obvious.

He never got to see his stories make their way back to Middle East and attract their own fans of scary monsters and forbidden knowledge. If only he’d known what a treasure trove he’d found!

I've never heard or seem a better production. concise, precise, mysterious, dark, captivating, truly occult (obscure knowledge), and just beautiful! Thank You
