Subaru awd can move the entire weight of th car with one wheel having traction. Seen them do really well in a lot of videos with a good set of tires

My brother and I have been working on his for this, with a camber adjustments, 3 inch suspension lift, 16 inch rims with AT 30s, and a torq master rear locker they are really nice to wheel in. That's like 3k in parts and some easy labor over a long weekend.

The Outback would be a lot cheaper to maintain than the Bronco, that's for sure.

So are you supposed to own two sets of rims for all season tires and winter tires and swap them when seasons change ?

I have been all over with mine through ruts over stuff just gotta watch clearence

Only problem is ground clearance, as long as it's not rocky a Subaru will do fine.

It is a very capable vehicle, but the Bronco can definitely go places a Outback can not.

No vehicle can go anywhere lower than its lowest part . That being said the Outback has far more GC than any of the small SUVs' and more than many of the full-size SUVs . It's not a Hum-V but there are few places it can't get to that any other off road vehicles can get to . I have a 2024 Outback and a 2009 Impreza and a 2008 Dodge 1500 I wont even try to go where the Subarus will go with my Dodge .

The Bronco would beat it off road. The Subaru is far better in normal driving though. Better gas mileage. I have an outback and the handling is way better. The thing is stuck to the road like velcro.
