This video was shot in 2022... But yes, we still have the car!We now have over 125k miles on it and the only real problem I have had was a wheel bearing going out, which was covered under warranty right before we crossed the 100k mile mark.

I'm glad you balanced out with the good points of this car. Mine is a 2015. A lot of people who complain about the Outback must realize one thing. It is NOT a heavy duty off-road truck like vehicle. Its really a mediocre family wagon with excellent build quality, gas mileage and all wheel drive system. It's not a luxury car either. Its a versatile, solid, practical, functional and reliable wagon. Buy it with that in mind and you'll never be disappointed with it.

Balance has been restored 😊. Thank you for praising the VIRTUES! I have a 22 Outback Premium after driving four Toyota and four Honda sedans. I love it. Got it for driving to trailheads and being able to sleep in my vehicle. It's worked out well.

We bought a 2017 Outback for my daughter... I drove it for a while and fell in love with it. It handles great, decent fuel mileage and comfortable ride. I will have to look at the Wilderness model.

We Love my wife’s 19 Outback. It has only 38K miles.
Yeah the 175 horsepower is a bit GUTLESS, but it gets her through the 5-7 feet of snow we get every winter.
It LOVES to run between 80 and 90mph on the freeway.
It’s extremely comfortable and hugs the corners in the “S” curves coming up our mountain to get home.
When it wears out, we’ll replace it with another Outback.

Thanks for the + and - vids!! Personally I find that Subaru Outbacks are the best! We have a 5 yr old and our Subie takes us everywhere - super dependable and capable car/suv 🙌 🚗

All reasons why I love my outback :-) sold my 2016 and got a 2024 onyx. It’s perfect for Michigan with 2 big dogs 😁

Have owned 3 2 over 200k no problems. 21 With 90k has been amazing. Touch screen was buggy at the beginning but with software updates it has been amazing. Not only did an outback save my life from a drunk driver but it has never let me down. Subaru Outback driver for life.

I just bought a same color Wilderness... love it. what a great platform and drive system. Funny how some of my friends give me a hard time and call it a "Lesburu" but I don't care, it gets way more drive time than my Porsche 911.

I drive Outback 2018 European version. No integrated roof rails and fewer color options compared to the US, but I love it anyway. The best feature is the ability to onboard your friends and do a nice roadtrip no matter what road you ride, no matter what weather is.

Thank you for the video. Purchased a 2024 Outback dealer loaner with 6800 miles last June. Some things I like and don't. Blessings to you. Love the photo of your wife and you on your dash. Thank you for your service as a fire fighter. Stay safe.

I have the 2022 outback sport ( Australian spec ) and just love it . After a long and expensive search for the right vehicle. Including buying a ute / truck and very quickly understanding it was a mistake for me . The outback feels like the perfect fit . It does everything i want to off road . it can tow my boat and i can do long distance trips in comfort. Im 6ft5 and Its soo nice to be able to find a comfortable vehicle, The seats are soo nice . Gas mileage is getting better and better as the engins runs in . At 30, 000km now
Thanks for sharing your videos .

Great video. I have put a ton of hard miles on my 2015 Limited 2.5. Never once an issue. Even off-road and loaded with 4 mountain bikes, 2 sea kayaks, and camping gear. And the worst mileage I ever got was 22mpg and that was off-road and heavily laden. Only downside is the standard roof rack, but I replaced it with a Yakima setup and that works great.

2024 Outback Wildness here. Love this car. Nice ride, safety, 9.5 inches of ground clearance. Great road trip and car camping.

I own a 2015 Outback Limited 2.5. It replaced a VW Jetta Sportwagen TDI diesel 6-speed MT w/ 100K and a service for blown hoses over $2K. That was it. I wanted a non-drama car. The Subaru oil changes are under $40 at my dealer. It's the best car to have in weather. We get a ton of rain in Florida summers. I love it. Bought a lockable Thule Frontier cargo box 7.5 ft. x 2 ft. on FB Marketplace for $75 this week. Don't have anything to put in it right now. We're 2200 miles from CO/UT ski resorts. But, good to have! Also, the MPG you mentioned and a pretty large gas tank, my Outback has a range of over 420 miles on a full tank.(My Jetta TDI had close to 500 miles.) I like that you're not stopping every 200 miles on a road trip like i have to do on my 1999 4Runner.

We love our Subaru Outback. Seriously impressed how it handled in the snow. Drive now with Falken Wildpeak 3’s. Guess next would be the 4’s. Love your setup for camping.
