CHEESE BREAD
This is my 2nd version of Cheese Bread which I made fluffier & tastier than the first version. ☺️
✔️Dough
1 cup lukewarm milk (fresh or evap) [240 ml]
2 tbsp sugar [25 grams]
1 large egg
2 tsp active dry or instant yeast [7 grams]
(*no need to proof if using instant yeast)
1/4 cup milk powder [30 grams]
1/4 cup sugar [50 grams]
2 & 3/4 cups bread flour [352 grams]
1/2 tsp salt
2 tbsp butter/margarine/shortening (30 grams)
✔️Streusel (Crumbly Topping)
3/4 cups all purpose flour [96 grams]
1/3 cup margarine [75 grams]
1/4 cup milk powder [30 grams]
1/3 cup sugar [75 grams]
3/4 cup grated cheese [75 grams]
*water for dipping
Bake time: 15-20 mins @ 170C.
(Bake time & temp varies with oven specs, mine is bottom flame only)
