You don't have to be a professional baker to make this soft and fluffy bread. Today, I will show you how to make it easy and you'll be glad you're making your own bread and not gonna buy anymore.

Here's what you'll need:
1 cup warm milk (236 ml)
1 tbsp sugar (10g)
2 tsp active dry yeast
3 cup all purpose flour (375g) + 1/3-1/2 cup for kneading
¼ cup sugar (50g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
1 large egg
1/3 cup melted butter (75g)
2 tbsp oil for your hand while kneading

Eggwash
1 egg and 1 tbsp milk

PORTUGUESE:

OVEN - Baking time may vary depending on your oven's specification. I'm using a conventional oven which heat rises from the bottom.

YEAST - Active dry yeast and instant yeast both help leaven bread and provide an airy, light texture, but they do so in slightly different ways and there's one major difference in how you use them: Active dry yeast needs to be dissolved in water before using, while instant yeast can be mixed right into dry ingredients.

I don’t know what the craze has been going on in the comments here, but thank you for this recipe! I chose the option that made three loafs of bread, but instead of three, I divided it into six and each individual smaller loaf, I stuffed it with different forms of cooked meat/lunch meat and cheese. It was like homemade hotpockets! Delicious! 😋

I've made this several times now and it's such an easy and delicious recipe! I divided the dough into 8 mini balls/loaves and put them into a large round cake tin. Looked very pretty 😍

I made this bread yesterday and I cannot explain how good that turned out. I made few breads before but never got such results. I did the first kneading in my food processor and then a little bit with hand. So, it was way easier and less messy. I just had to come back and mention in the comments that this is one trustworthy recipe even if you are making bread for the first time. Thank you for sharing this recipe. 😊❤️❤️

I made this bread with my 10 year old Granddaughter yesterday. THE BEST recipe I have come across so far!! She loved making this with me as well as loved the bread. We topped ours with cinnamon butter. What a huge success. Needless to say we are making a double batch tomorrow. Thank you Thank you Thank you! I can't wait for your next video!

I made this and it was delicious! Just be aware that if you make one big loaf instead of two small ones the baking time increases. Thank you so much for this recipe!

I made this 3 times in one week. It's Soo good and extremely easy. The third time I put a thin layer of Nutella and rolled it up - it turned out amazing and took it to the next level!. Try it and you won't be disappointed.

A Tip - my house is always pretty cold so I turn on my oven for a couple mins to get it warmed up. Turn it off and let my dough rise in there.

2 tbsp of active dry yeast
Bloom for 10 minutes
3 cups of all purpose flour (375g)
1/4 of cup of sugar (50g)
1 tbsp of salt (5g)
1 large egg
1/3 of melted butter (75g)
Add the yeast mixture then mix
Sprinkle some flour for kneading about 1/3-1/2 cup
Drizzle some oil to prevent from sticking
Knead for at least 10 minutes or until the dough is smooth and elastic
Form the dough into a ball and place in an oiled bowl
Cover with cling wrap
Let it rise for 1 hour or until double in size (first proofing)
Punch out the gas
2:28-3:50 (idk how to explain sorry 😀)
Egg wash: 1 egg and 1 tablespoon of milk
Brush that into the doughy (idk) 4:02
Bake in preheated oven at 180c for 18-20 minutes
