How to make a Supersoft Cheese Pandesal that stays soft for days.
Pandesal is a common bread roll in the Philippines. It is a Filipino version of dinner roll but dredge in bread crumbs. Sweet, a little bit salty, soft and fluffy we enjoyed this every morning. But this time it's filled with cheddar cheese.

Here's what you'll need:
1 cup warm milk (250ml)
1 egg
2 tbsps condensed milk (30g)
3 tbsps sugar (45g)
2 tsps instant yeast (6g)
1/4 cup milk powder (50g)
3 and ½ cup all purpose flour (440g)
1/3 cup butter (70g)
1 tsp salt (5g)
16 pieces square cheddar cheese (10g each)
Breadcrumbs

Bake in a preheated oven at 180C/350F for 25-28 minutes.

0:09 CHEESE PANDESAL
0:38 Mix until the sugar dissolves.
0:58 Attach bowl and dough hook attachment and set at speed 2.
1:15 When the dough forms, add 1/3 cup butter (70g) and 1 tsp salt.
1:34 Or until dough clings to hook and cleans side of bowl.
1:40 Oil the bowl and place the smooth dough.
1:56 Punch dough down and divide into 16 pieces.
2:22 Round into a ball.
2:39 Cover and let it rest for 10 minutes.
2:48 Flatten each dough ball then fill with 10 grams of cheddar cheese.
2:57 Pinch the seams to seal and smooth it out as shown.
3:07 Dredge in bread crumbs.
3:15 Place in a baking sheet pan.
3:22 Cover for 30 minutes in a warm place.

hi Savor Easy I’m an avid fan of yours and I’ve tried most of your bread recipes and it’s always a hit...thank you for being so generous on sharing your talent. I just baked this and it was really soft. Can i add more of the condense milk to make it a bit sweeter?

Super sarap! Tried it just now and came out super soft and according to my liking. Had to put it back to the oven to brown it a bit para maging slightly crunchy yung top. Thanks for sharing. 😊
