I saw someone call this the final boss of knitting/sewing/crocheting... seems accurate

As a fellow fiber artist, people who make lace by hand are on another level. I am so mesmerised by it but i cannot comprehend it 😅

Oh wow I just figured out what all the shuffling is! It's braiding with 4+ strands! I still could never but now I get it a little bit!

To my untrained eyes, the weaving process looks so silly to me😂
You just kinda jingle em around and that somehow creates a work of art
Keep up the good work

I do very large and complicated custom embroidery pieces by hand.

The thought of " once you know what you're looking at, you know what you're looking at" makes total sense to me.

I am so interested and inspired by your work and your content.
I was lucky enough to spend a few days in Puerto Rico and watch a very lovely lady tat lace for hours.
She was so fast and so precise, and she was talking with a few of us the entire time.
It was mesmerizing and magical.

When others have seen my work, it have seen me create my pieces they all look at it like it's something they could never do, or just understand.

I would encourage everyone to learn any type of art using string or floss.
Everyone has the capacity, and capability to make there own magic.

Your pieces are beautiful and the process looks like it's a lot of fun.

I hope we cross paths someday.
I would love to sit and watch in real time and maybe have the chance to give it a try.

Beautiful work.
Thank you for sharing this with everyone.

My best to you.

My grandma used to do encaje de bolillos with over 40 pins, she was also crazy fast, like she didn't even needed to stop and think of the pattern, she just did it ❤❤❤

I thought I grasped the concept for a second, but it quickly slipped away 😂 too impressive for me to understand

Lace making is fun. Tatting, crocheting, and knitting is tedious yet rewarding!!! It's relaxing for me.

Absolutely beautiful but after years on doing this, it took a toll on my eyes

Ohhh I was always so fascinated how they were able to keep track of which one to hold and what not, that’s awesome!

This is the equivalent of asking a teacher what a question means and them responding with "Just read it carefully"

I am so glad someone is still making handmade lace so that technology is not lost. Yes, folks I said technology Which reminds me of something else so fascinating sometime between 1919 40 machines were made to do this mechanically and they made the most intricate fine lace, but the machines were destroyed in World War II and no one can reproduce the machines! Or maybe it’s that they haven’t tried!!!! not that I prefer machines …. it reminds me of the movie “Hugo!”

I'm bewildered with this. I would have never guessed you made lace in this way.👍

I'm so proud that you exist! my friend sent me this video of a woman that was a lace maker. She was an older woman (it said 70yrs experience as a lace maker) and it literally blew my mind. I'm like A, B, B, A, killshot. and this lady is MAKING SOMETHING faster than you can follow in real life. I hope that others like you wil keep the handmade traditions going for our generation. It's so important. I breed purebred cats and i have a mentor from Europe. I wanted to keep traditions moving into the future in my own way. May we all do our little part to keep our humanity. Thank you for sharing, you made my day! #thankyou
