This is the cheapest penthouse in all of New York City, and its actually very nice which is mind-blowing when recent market reports show Manhattan NYC Rents are smashing records. This place has 3 balconies, 4 bathrooms and 4 bedrooms which makes it an insane deal in one of the most expensive cities in all of America.

He’s in my old hood (East Harlem). Sadly, it’s why I moved upstate to own. That’s just too much money to RENT.
I’d rather own. I have 2 beds, 2 full bath, separate living-dining-laundry rooms for $820/mo mortgage. Just more cost effective this way.

Can't believe so many ppl watch but don't subscribe! Don't they know about loyalty to the guy with a fascination for sink sprayers? 😛

Hey Cash! Just signed my first ever NYC apartment lease and watching your videos inspired me to settle for nothing less than a dream place and I got it :)

Would be nice to see an apartment that doesn't require you to have a crowd of room mates. Oh wait, it would be $5400 a month. Not even an actual living room either..always the same situation..you need 10 people to move in to help pay for it and no common room..and usually a micro kitchen and shallow little closets. Ugh

It's obvious that you don't cook. That kitchen would be bare minimum for 1 person and is impossible for 4. Wouldn't landlords make about the same amount of money with 2 large bedrooms, real closets, and a better kitchen than chopping it up spaces like this?

How about finding 1 person who can pay $5400 per month who likes to sleep in a different bedroom and use a different bathroom each night?

10 Cool Facts about Cash

1) Cash owns his own company, boss!
2) Cash wants Vitamin Water to sponsor his videos. Haha (It would be cool if you asked me).
3) He has sick transitions editing skills.
4) The rental car service always gives him a bad car. Haha
5) He has a sweet tooth - love cookies and pastries.
6) Each video has some low key humor to them. (low key)
7) He loves exploring around NYC and gets homesick when he travels at times.
8) If the apartment doesn't have a "SINK SPRAYER" it's an absolute bummer.
9) Cash is a foodie and has been to a great number of restaurants in the city.
10) Loves networking and meeting new people.

I've been living in Harlem for a year. The history is amazing. I live around the corner from the location of the club where Billie Holiday first sang in public for cash. And there are folks here who can tell you all about it. Some of the blocks look like London at turn of century.

Cash could assume 10 people will be living in every apartment. Then he could simply advertise every place for 1/10 of what actual rent is

I hate this per person crap.
Fid a $1, 350 apartment, without any roommates.

@4:12 I’m dead 😵. He said divided by 4 😂. He didn’t even mention that the heating in the winter, cooling in the summer, stove to cook and the hot water system is all electric. Meaning the renter pays a separate utility bill for all that! 😂😂

Your title of this video is misleading. I'm thinking the whole apartment is $1, 350, but you stated per person, which equals to $5, 400. No thank you because TOO much money.

It is only $675 per month. He forgot about putting bunk beds in each room and dividing the cost by 8.

Can you explain how this constitutes a 'Penthouse??? This place doesn't even have a living room. Well, most of the places you show have no dedicated living room area. NYC is probably not for most of us who are used to actual living spaces, and forced to have room mates that will probably end up getting on your nerves. Plus. if one moves out, you have to pay their part till someone moves in.

I really dislike when you put that an apartment only costs $X when you really mean it only costs $X per occupant. Some of us might want to have an extra bedroom to use as a home office, or just prefer to live alone rather than turning an otherwise livable space into an extra bedroom. People can do math. Put "four bedroom for $5400" instead of "only costs $1350." Stop with the clickbait titles. Also, though it's not applicable to this video, they're almost never walk-in closets. Please stop calling a closet a walk-in closet just because you can fit inside one when it's empty. That's not what walk-in closet means.
