While memberships are an awesome way for people to publicly endorse a channel, there has to be a healthy way for people to publicly criticize specific videos. Dislike counts have served that purpose for years. Please bring them back so the negativity doesn't funnel into other areas, like the comments section.

You know what I'd like from Youtube other than the return of the public dislike count and an end to their attack on our mental health?
Youtube to put "You" back in "Youtube". Being able to broadcast yourself is what made Youtube the great success it is. But for some reason it's pandering to the same scummy corporations and adopting the same horrendous policies that made mainstream media so undesirable.

Im sick of youtube ignoring us like this. Their are people making videos stating how undesirable the updates are. Were not random people here, the dislikes on this video are real. Nice feature! Even better would be some sort of public dislike counter so that you could see whether or not the video you're watching is worth it at a glance. It would really help the massive influx of spam, scams, and fake stuff that has infested this platform and that your moderation seems utterly helpless to stop!
