Around 90% of all hypertension is essential hypertension, which means it has no known cause.

Southern states have the highest risk of hypertension and the highest risk of strokes. They also have a much higher rate of zinc-deficient soils.

Doctors are often hyper-focused on reducing sodium to lower blood pressure, and people are surprised to find their blood pressure does not go down after reducing their salt intake.

If you’re deficient in zinc, your sense of taste and smell is often inhibited. This might cause you to add more salt to your food and crave junk food. The average American indeed consumes too much sodium from junk food and not enough potassium, but zinc deficiency is also a significant issue.

ACE 2 inhibitors are the number one blood pressure medication. This type of medication depletes zinc, potentially causing more blood pressure problems. Diuretics, antibiotics, antacids, and birth control pills also deplete zinc.

Zinc is a helper mineral for making nitric oxide, a vasodilator that helps relax the blood vessels. Zinc is required for nitric oxide to work. Zinc is also necessary to make certain antioxidants, including SOD, which helps to keep inflammation at bay.

You can become deficient in zinc by consuming food grown in zinc-deficient soils or if you don’t consume shellfish and red meat. Sugar, refined carbs, whole grains, alcohol, and fructose deplete zinc. Weak stomach acid interferes with mineral absorption, which can contribute to a zinc deficiency.

Oysters and other shellfish, as well as red meat, are the best sources of zinc.

Walking a few minutes (5-15minutes) every evening, for six months, helped me to normalise my blood pressure. 🚶

100% WORKS. After 12+ hours of traveling, my grandmas blood pressure was 180/90. Did the breathing with her for 5 minutes- new pressure To say i was completely shocked is an understatement. [Used a manual blood pressure monitor, so I'm sure of the differences]

Caffeine.
My dentist detected my high BP, and sent me to an oral surgeon for some extractions.
My BP spiked after taking the stairs to the 3rd floor for the surgery, but my BP was raging, so needed a medical doctor to clear me for the procedure.
The M.D. asked very few general questions and then wrote a prescription for BP meds.
I will not take those killers, but instead, quit caffeine. I drink a pot of coffee in the morning, and the caffeine was really screwing with me, I guess.
My pressure is much closer to normal after a few weeks of decaf, and I will never see that "doctor" again.

Hello, Dr. Berg. Can do a video for low blood pressure? My wife has always had low blood pressure and her Doctor has always said you need more sodium. It would be great to know the reason and solution. Thank you. Love your knowledge and your kindness to help people with solutions other than pills.

That makes perfect sense. I was experiencing higher blood pressure despite losing weight and my blood sugar being stable - thanks to ozempic! My eyesight was blurry, so I took some zinc and like magic my blood pressure normalised.

The reason we southerners have high blood pressure is because we fry everything, even pickles.

Zinc is often hard to absorb. What drives ZINC into cells??? The bioflavenoid QUERCITN or the medical synthetic quinine, Hydroxychloroquine that was banned during the CV plandemic.

Number 1 reason for high blood pressure is magnesium, number 2 is vitamin D, and number 3 would be zinc or potassium deficiency. The telltale sign of zinc deficiency is that food doesn't taste good and chronic pain and inflammation and low testosterone and low energy. I have a zinc deficiency, but normal blood pressure. My zinc deficiency was from tums and anti acids the past 8-10 years! Now I'm taking zinc every night past couple weeks and doing much better already! Zinc can actually increase appetite because it also speeds up metabolism, but it will convert the extra food you eat into energy.

Zinc deficiency has little to do with hypertension. Just remember that zinc tablets can interfere with iron absorption so only take them for three months at a time.
