As human beings, it’s hard to not react in the heat of the moment. When someone questions your character or calls you out on something, we get defensive. However, in this video be reminded that as a follower of Jesus, we must exercise self-control and respond in love.

Written and presented by Samer Massad.

Be not quick in your spirit to become angry, for anger lodges in the heart of fools. Ecclesiastes 7:9 Let us walk in the Spirit and not in the flesh.

Once again DBM has struck a nerve. Thnx Samer for the gentle reminder from James...quick to hear, slow to speak. Too often my mouth is in gear before my ears. Praise God, he is so patient and forgiving. Bless you all🙏📖😘

Praise God for making every effort to make our heart rigtheous bere Him, in order we will be more pleasant to be around for others as well! In accordance with this word and james 1:19-20, 2 corinthians 6:14-18 I bind one to desire to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry while binding to hell every lack of desire to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angry in my life, the lives of my family, friends, colleagues, neighbours, acquitances, opponents, the children I teach and the body of Christ, binding to hell every unequal yoke and common share with anyone lacking desire to be quick to listen, slow to speak and slow to become angey, in the name and blood of Jesus Christ, amen and hallelujah, glory to God ❤!

Dear Heavenly Father, help us to be angry and do not sin. Help us to not let the sun go down on our anger and give no opportunity for the devil to have a foothold in our lives. Let us respond and react with the love of Jesus Christ in our hearts. May Your Holy Spirit produce the righteousness that God desires. Let us respond with a soft answer because it turns away wrath but a harsh word stirs up anger. May we think before we speak. Let the words of our mouth and the meditations of our heart be acceptable in thy sight for You our Strength and Redeemer. In Jesus' name. Amen.

Amen. And let us consider the Lord Jesus,

"For even hereunto were ye called: because Christ also suffered for us, leaving us an example, that ye should follow his steps: Who did no sin, neither was guile found in his mouth: Who, when he was reviled, reviled not again; when he suffered, he threatened not; but committed himself to him that judgeth righteously: Who his own self bare our sins in his own body on the tree, that we, being dead to sins, should live unto righteousness: by whose stripes ye were healed. For ye were as sheep going astray; but are now returned unto the Shepherd and Bishop of your souls."
