People in Tokyo are respectful of each other, quiet, with manners and follow unwritten rules. If you do the same you will be fine. Oh..and learn the language. You need the basics to make them relax around you.

Yes thats right, me to im so touchy and fortunately i have quiet a lot of Japanese friends and when im touching them (hug, hold hands, put your hands on their shoulders, or kiss on the cheek which is very common when meeting new person), they will totally shooked. Even when you already close to them its still a no no

Compared to people in Paris, people in Tokyo are a lot more respectful and rule abiding, and customer service is a lot better

As other Japanese say, if the rubbish bins have removed only to make beautiful cities,
I recommend to remove all the people from the cities.
Of course, it's an ironic contradiction.
I was in France when this video was posted.
Every cities have rubbish bins, but cities were beautiful enough.
Spit your complaint out instead of saying flattery,
and we might be able to make "more comfortable Japan" for you.

i remember cathy interviewed about wasei eigo, japane english . she taught the meaning to foreiners.
