This was kind of sort of in the video, but I remember the Holy Spirirt speaking this to me when I was little and I was committed to abstinence since then. Now that I'm in college I can tell you that there is divine protection in abstaining because it's easy to tell when a guy is not genuinely interested in me and is only looking for one thing because someone can only pretend for so long. It's hard enough as is to walk away from someone who wants to use you once you've bonded with that person, but I could only imagine how much harder it would've been to move on from these types of guys if I had given my body away. Multiple times I have been deceived by men. If they can’t accept me from refraining from sex and wait, that’s too bad. It just means you don’t have a relationship with God or haven’t been delivered. Plus number three hit home. I’ve always thought if you wait until marriage, sex is pleasurable.

I am always so scared in my heart that God will make me wait years with my broken heart... maybe He will maybe He won’t. I pray He helps me be strong. I feel bad that I am so afraid He will make me wait instead of trusting Him. He loves me, He knows what I need. His ways are higher than mine.
