how i ACTUALLY got into harvard: reading my admissions file (international, first gen, low income)

hey all! after getting to college, i wanted to know how the admissions officers ACTUALLY made the decision about my acceptance. here is my reaction to and breakdown of my harvard admissions file as an international student! in hindsight, had i watched videos like this, about the harvard admissions file, maybe i would've known how to get into harvard a little earlier haha

thank you sm for showing your actual admission officer comments and file! it's really nice to actually see someone's actual physical copy bc most people said they weren't allowed to take pics so idk. i'm deciding on applying to harvard business school soon so this was helpful to see how they do ratings!

For Athletics this is the breakdown:
1: You're basically guaranteed to make it into some major national level sports team (like NBA, NFL, NHL, etc.)
2: You're capable of being a walk on into the sports team of harvard
3: You've done sports in general in your school
4: You've done no sports
5: iirc this is for when you do sports but they are not associated with your school (they will waive you if this is the case iirc)
6: You were physically incapable of participating in sports (they will waive you in this case iirc)
