Doesn’t sound stronger or more confident— it sounds false, inauthentic, manipulative, and so… really not the words of anybody I would care to listen to, especially in a professional working relationship where trust as well as true, authentic, and honest interpersonal communication skills are a necessity. Nobody should have to consciously alter their speech patterns in order to “persuade” others to agree with them. The work and the words should speak for themselves; if it’s a good idea it doesn’t need much cherry-picked persuasive language.
