You know your stuff Doc. All know is, I’ve been ingesting strong opiates for 20 years and it may be better for my liver at least, to inject said drugs. Especially as it reduced the concentration by the Gastrointestinal tract. And can be fatal or heavily toxic if the liver gives up (20 years of abuse) and said drugs become toxic to dangerous levels. Anyhow, my arms etal veins are multiple and wholesome at 50yo but my skin is like crape paper so it is now time to use them veins and save my lungs also. As I know have COPD amd do not want liver disease also. Thanks for the short but educational video. It has helped a great deal. Good luck.

thank you sir for simplifying the complex ..1)whether entire gut is drianed by hepato portal shunt sir or only small intestine is connected .my doubt is if we give some medication via anus as suppository whether it has to pass through liver undergoing first pass effect .2) is there any chance to escape first pass effect to minimize dose for oral preparations . 3) i know that sublingual route will escape from first pass effect can we take any medicine via sublingually or any restrictions sir
