I am upgrading from a solid 2012 MBP 13 inch and it has performed well for music for me. However, I am giving this to a friend so he can get started with production and because the price is the same for m1 & m2 I'm just going to get the m2.

could a macbook with a m2 max pro, essentially replace your home computer? i have a pretty good pc, but when i run fl studio, after so many plugins, it starts to slow down and glitch/skip, been debating switching to a mac for more power
