Magnetic Speed Multiplier | Magnetic Games

This magnetic speed multiplier actually works like a magnetic gear. Have you noticed how the discs rotate in reverse with each other? This effect is due to the layer of 10 bolts in the middle of the discs which deforms the magnetic field of the magnets.

It's like a big wheel turning a small wheel fast.
In order for the small magnet to rotate the large magnet quickly, a lot of force is required.

As other comments have said, neat gearing analog! If you run it backwards, can you pump the torque up? How much force can it create before it "slips?"
