Older brother and his best friend did some drag racing in the early 1960's. They rally'd semi-professionally in the late 1960's. They offered advice to me. A hobby car is a hole in the driveway that money disappears into. It's cheaper to watch race cars than it is to build and race them. I do admit, though, that I collect model cars, mostly 1:18. Still cheaper than the real thing.

The jeep fuel filling issue is NOT the gas tank!! I own 3 jeeps (2001 2013 2015) and all 3 have the SAME issue, the design of the filler tube is flawed.. just don't put the gas filler all the way in the filler tube, pull it back a couple inches and begin fueling (halfway in is about perfect) it's just something that is a jeep issue..

My Dad has had over 100 cars and collects so many things. He is getting older now and is selling a lot of it now. He turned a pretty big profit though. He just unloaded 150 pcs of old A & W Root Beer rare memorabilia . He just sold a wax cone from the 60's that was new for 120 bucks. Collecting is fun. But know know your limits. It can be addicting.
