The Alabama Crimson Tide hit the practice field today for Scrimmage number two. One player that is building into a star player is backup quarterback Ty Simpson. He has ignored the temptation to transfer and is committed to Alabama. Heading into the season he is a clear option is Jalen Milroe goes down.

I feel like there is not a great deal of separation between Simpson and Milroe but Simpson would have to be significantly better before any coach would want to replace their starter. With that being said I look for our qb’s to show out with this offense and a new OC.
