Homemade Ketchup Using Fresh Tomatoes

Do you want to lean how to make homemade ketchup? In this video we will harvest tomatoes to make ketchup from scratch.

Ingredients:
About 6 lbs Fresh tomatoes, Quartered
1/2 Cup Brown Sugar
2/3 Cup Distilled White Vinegar (or 1/3 C Apple & 1/3 C White Vinegar)
1/4 tsp Celery Salt
1 tsp Worcestershire Sauce
1 tsp Garlic Powder
1/4 tsp Mustard Powder
3 Cloves of Garlic, Minced
1/4 Red Cayenne (Optional)
2 tsp Granulated Onion
1/4 tsp Black Pepper
1-2 tsp Salt
Cook in instant pot for 10 minutes, NPR for 15 minutes
Blend and stain
Put back in pot, & press the saute button.
Add seasonings and continue to reduce sauce down until it's the right consistency.
Add to containers and Enjoy

used this recipe for my ridiculous amount of purple bumble tomatoes (which actually turn yellow). looks strange but tastes delicious. never had yellow ketchup before. cheers

I am currently trying out this recipe, I don't have a pot with the saute button just using a saucepan but I'm guessing that means on a low heat xxx

Thanks for the video, I'm going to make this on the stove this week with my leftover frozen Roma tomatoes from last years garden and make on swap out monkfruit instead of reg sugar looks delish!

keto note to self - small batch, used stevia instead of sugar, added 1 clove, dash cinnamon, blended for long time in blender... skip straining. let chill, tastes good.

I have one question though .
How many weeks / months does this keep stored? Is it to be kept refrigerated or room temp ?

Yum. This is very similar to my ketchup recipe i just do a different process. I also add a little more sugar and vinegar.

Was eating some potatoes this morning with store bought ketchup and could taste all the funkiness in it... I cant believe it never dawned on me to just make ketchup with my tomatoes because I often waste at the end of the season.
