as an american, i dont claim her 💀 but i do agree that we suck at geography. i didnt learn about the other continents til towards the end of first grade lol so i think they should definitely work on that

I’m American but I love geography! I love learning about countries, other cultures, etc. It’s pretty sad that ppl assume that all Americans are dumb, but it is what it is!

We’re British and my brother had a business meeting in Florida. His associate asked him if alligators were such a big problem in Florida as they were in London, to which he replied not generally in the centre of the capital but yes they were in suburbs.

We literally don’t learn any basic geography besides remembering the states. there really wasn’t any legit world history or geography class from my na education.

This NJ girl had the same experience, years ago when backpacking through Europe. I had met these Germans in Italy. When they learned I was from the States, they asked if I came from the States by train. So, it might shock Europeans to know that even Germans can be ignorant.
