Conservatives want American kids to be dumb

Conservatives, and specifically PragerU, want American kids to be dumb. They're defunding schools, harassing teachers and re-writing history for a very specific reason. In this video, I explore why. There's some philosophy, some historical fact-checking and a few jokes.

The actions for our children by radical conservatives that:
- limit access to facts
- stifle their curiosity and creativity
- teach them not to think
ensure a morden day slave population. PragerU’s, physical and metaphoric, cartoons are very scary. Yet another powerful example to monitor what your children watch.

I would recommend David Pakman’s books for children. The first is called Think Like a Detective which teaches the techniques of critical thinking. These techniques should be applied to PragerU’s ‘facts’.

I am a 45 yr old white mother of 4 kids. As each got to HS, i cannot believe how much from the oldest to youngest how much their education has changed from mine. It really pains me for what passes as 'quality education'. Glad they ALL had GREAT history teachers. We had to go to a library and use a typewriter, they have the world at their fingers from their phones and my daughter's AP classes dont require APA format. But I learn a more correct version of history each time I help with a project to get rid of the propogranda we were fed. So glad we don't live in FL.

My biracial 8th grade daughter in a mostly white school came home and asked me if I'd ever heard of Prager U. We speak about political topics regularly, and I do not curtail my opinion for her because she's a child. I want her educated and prepared. When i was done, she proceeded to tell me about the debate she had with the substitute teacher who played a Prager U video to her class. Apparently, in frustration, the teacher decided one video was enough and allowed my baby and her classmates to read on their own time for the remainder of the class.
