How to Install Drive Reach OTR | weBoost
Step 1:
0:28--Select Outside Mounting Location on Your Truck
We recommend placing the antenna at least 12 inches away from any other antennas by using a rack or mirror arm (bird perch).
Step 2:
0:47--Assemble the Outside Antenna
The modular mast extensions build the antenna up to 40 inches tall. If you want to add the provided mast extension(s), secure them to the antenna first. We recommend securing components with Loctite added to the threads for additional support. After adding the optional mast extensions, secure the side exit adapter. Finally attach the optional antenna spring. This spring provides additional flexibility and durability. You must thread the antenna cable through the side exit adapter even if you are not using the mast extension or antenna spring.
Step 3:
1:58--Mount Outside Antenna
Using the provided washers, nuts, and bolts, secure the bracket to a rack or mirror arm on your truck. Secure the bottom of the Outside Antenna to the bracket using the provided washer and nut. Route the cable behind the weather stripping around a door.
Step 4:
2:52--Mount Inside Antenna
Secure the Inside Antenna directly on the dash using the provided adhesive strips. Do not install the Inside Antenna on or near airbags.
Step 5:
3:21--Connect Coax Cables
First connect the Outside Antenna cable to the Booster. Check that the Booster and Inside Antenna are at least 12 inches apart. Then connect the Inside Antenna cable to the Booster. Place the Booster under a seat or other ventilated area. Do not put the Booster in a small container, like the glove box, where it can overheat. Both the Outside and Inside Antennas must be plugged into the Booster before connecting to the power supply.
Step 6:
3:46--Plug Adapter into the Power Supply
Next, plug in the provided adapter to the truck’s power supply. Make sure the coax cables are connected to the Booster.
Step 7:
3:53--Connect the Power Supply to the Booster
Plugin the power line to the Booster. The Booster is on and working if the light turns green. Refer to the provided Install Guide with any questions.
