Adding olive oil to your shakes is another great way to add on quick calories if you need them, it’s just liquid calories basically that won’t affect the taste or anything of your shake

I agree on the digestive part. The mass gainers made me feel like crap after. Bloated and sluggish.

They do work, but you need to count your whole day calories. You could use half a serving, that will be 630-650 calories 25-30g protein depending on the mass gainer you use.

It’s alot faster and cheaper than getting all these ingredients, instead you can get the same ingredients make yourself a snack everyday and take the same mass gainer at different times, that’ll be alot better for your guts and wil gain you the weight you need.

I’m 21 and still look like what you did before. Exact same thing with trouble gaining weight and low appetite. Thank you for this! Wanting to get bigger

Mass gainers work when you do not have time, for a hosteliar like me it works

Thx for the recipe! I'm 5'2" and just under 110, or 110. I was worried about the properties of most mass gainers. Don't want hypoglycemic events like I used to. A blender would've saved me a bunch of time and money this whole time 🤦‍♂️

Jus so y’all know, most of em work, jus look at calories and protein, aim for about 1000 cals and 50gs protein

I’m so glad I found this video. I can’t sit and eat anything that takes long to eat because my body starts rejecting it. I started making these massive smoothies/shakes 1, 980 calories 78g of protein and around 130g of carbs. So that at least if I can make myself chug one every day I won’t lose too much mass. I just decided one day to throw as much calories together as I could. I had looked around a lot before but I couldn’t find somebody talking about a massive homemade shake

I’m glad to see it so that somebody like me could find this and start making them before they go buy some expensive mass gainer. (And I swear I’m not tripping but all the mass gainers I’ve looked into that are close to even 1000 calories are expensive as a bitch)

It’s basically the same as u, whole milk, oats, cottage cheese, plain Greek yogurt, 3 servings of different protein powders with vitamins, and then honey.

Store bought mass gainers probably work but making a mass gainer homemade is probably 1/4th of the price and the ingredients tend to be more natural since they didn’t have to be preserved like something that has to be shipped to the store.

I do advise if you’re doing any sort of massive smoothie or shake to make sure u drink hella water. To help process the protein and in my case because of the cottage cheese to counteract dehydration from so much sodium.

So that's why Rich Piana said, "you just fucking eat more...."

And it's so simple, and people don't wanna believe this.

According to Dr. Mike Israetel, "if you want to gain muscle at an optimal rate, the body needs to be convinced that food isn't just there, it's abundant."

I am 5ft 10inches 227lbs and I can do 22+ pull ups on bad days and 25+ on good days, 25+ one arm push ups each arm at any time, and a full minute V sit. 40+ pistols per leg on days my legs aren't sore. Needless to say I have very good body composition, and that's not fat weight. I am not that lean, 4 pack abs though.

I got there by just eating PB sandwiches, bread and lentils, a few eggs, little bit of fish and meat. Daily Goa was 4000+ kcals, and apart from push ups which were everyday, I would train every thing 2-3 times a day full intensity, 10+ sets.

Meanwhile, my Bros were going full kinobody style (which is a great lifting and diet program) and they are strong... We started at the same time, been 4-5 years...

They bench 345+lbs....

But me? Even though I don't go to gym any more frequently than once a month...

I barbell bench 435lbs any time you ask me to, I pendlay row 365lbs for 5 reps.... I squat 455lbs for 6-7 reps before I black out, and all of this....

Without paying attention to protein, just eating in a surplus for years. Eating fruits and the real while foods.

So I totally agree with the point you are making. Set a goal bodyweight, stay at that weight and then make that bodyweight more chiseled, stronger.

Hey everyone just to let you know these shakes are good for putting on weight but not so good for digestion when bulking you need to find high calorie low density foods oats seem like a good one but trust me leave oats out of the shake they have too much fiber fill you up and cause you to not be hungry i also got bad digestion problems from too high fiber instead try have a smaller 500 cal shake thats easy to digest and doesn't keep you full like 500ml of milk one bannana and 3 tbsp of pb
