This demonstrates lives destroyed. We need to understand how personal this was for so many people. Thank you for your efforts to educate.

Watching the destruction on tv and YouTube doesn’t even compare to seeing it in real life. Even a month or more out, the emotions you get are overwhelming . Not only was their homes or businesses wiped out. But it’s as if they never existed. Thank you for continuing to bring attention to what happened.

That kit you found with the narcan and the fentanyl, etc. could have come from law enforcement, or fire dept. and then you came upon the fire department stuff shortly after. I'm glad you and Adam went to assist. It will be good field experience for sure. That hurricane will.definitely be in the historical records. Stay safe.

It's really sad that the soil & water will be toxic for a long time. 🙏 for all who lost family, friends & everything they had to this horrible tragedy.

A lot of people in the US don’t realize the scope and span of this mess and what it’s like living in it all. We will be finding remains for months and years. I’ve spent the past 70+ days volunteering to gloss and deliver donated camping trailers to families sleeping here in tents…. We have had more tragedy when we lost people to the sub zero nights who were sleeping in tents and cars. Wild animals (more often than not bears) are leading us to human remains in cars that are buried in the mountains of debris. There are no words to fully describe the hellscape that is this once gorgeous place and our small communities. 😢❤

Jeremy and Adam, would you need some gloves to protect yourselves? Eg latex gloves, just a suggestion and all the very best.

You are looking through complete houses with everyone’s belongings.. people’s hopes and dreams gone.. along with hundreds of lives. It’s just so devastating the area that was destroyed.. I hope you put that bird house somewhere safe.. it might be all someone has left that they recognize from before the flood.. Thank you! 💔😭🙏

Hi, Jeremy and Adam. You could spend the next 7 days searching as best you can, but the debris field seems so thick in places, it could hide a vehicle or even a corpse (animal and/or human). Appreciate you guys doing what you can. Thanks for sharing. Stay healthy and safe, all of you 👍

You found a air tank on it that said hapton fire dept. about a mile up frome where you guys are searching was Elk Mill Vol. Fire dept. from my understanding they lost trucks and all. I have not personally drove up there to see so anyone with more info can definitely add to or correct me. I spend a lot of time up there in the right weather and time of year fishing. Just haven't been up there since the storm. Thanks for what you guys do I've followed long enough to know you wouldn't keep any valuable personal belonging. I know you would do everything possible to get it back to whom it belonged.
