FYI, I had this message twice (in the Message Centre in the system tray), and the only thing I had to do was open the settings window advised, and it was gone. I was NOT willing to enter old OR new passwords for such 'unexplained' message. B.t.w, I do not even have a Microsoft account on my PC 🥴
I found out that in both cases I had a TeamViewer session the day before to take over someone else his computer. Maybe that explains something for others too.

Interesting, I dont want any account connected to microsoft. Deleted microsoft account that i didnt make in the first place, dont know where it came from or how my email got connected to windows 10 since I only access it in web browser. I keep trying to de-sync everything, they keep trying to sync everything. I dont want to be signed into microsoft to browse windows 10 offline. Its not necessary. Then they give you constant notifications if you dont go along with their forced tracking of everything you do.
