Palisades Fire reaches Malibu

Here in San Diego the wind just turned wild. I can see how the fire is spreading, these winds are crazy

The double box shaped white building that the reporter shows on her cell is the same one in the background when the reporter is talking to resident who moved out of his house. At about 2:20 is about the best view of that structure. Both it and the one beside it are gone. In fact it looks like that whole hill side has been devastated by the fire.

And it's also surreal that the reporter was there through it all!! She must have felt terribly helpless to see the fire burn the hillside over several hours!!

Did the 30 minute warning to evacuate from a wildfire myself back in May 2023... Never want to do that again.. I am praying for everyone affected by todays firestorms. Peace and love from Canada at this hour!

Dude I just got off work in central malibu the only place around here that has service and I’m trapped all gas stations are shut down and I don’t have enough in the tank to evacuate. Thankfully it’s not spreading this way I can only hope it stays that way.

The Santa Ana winds have been bad all day. We got snow inthe SB mountains this morning. Im so sad LA didn't get rain this morning. Malibu has had a lot of earthquakes recently! Hoping the best for the firefighters and residents. This is so scary!
