The 5 Stages of Grief - Mapleshade Animatic

The only innocents in Mapleshade's Vengence are the kits who died.

This animatic is a bit more experimental in terms of presentation and editing, but I still think it turned out nice :)

I'd argue that reedshine, the kits, nettlepaw, and myler are the only cats I can say with some degree of confidence are innocent. they all just bystanders/victims of mapleshade's killing spree, some of them even offered her a life outside of her problems despite the fact that she had already committed multiple murders.

This fits her voice (at least how I imagine it), storyline, and it fits her revenge. Not only that but it was super well made and their poses, actions, and more fit the audio. It’s a awesome animatic and I hope you do more!

even though mapleshade viewed herself as the victim, the cats she harmed and ultimately ruined the lives of like reedshine and her children are the true victims of this story. in reedshine's case, she was forced to watch her husband get murdered in front of her after getting cheated on by him days before. she had to raise her three children alone, hell, she was probably traumatized. and the kits? well, do I even need to explain why?
