This is an RX 580, and it was CHEAP. I bought it off of aliexpress for $70, brand new, shipped to my door. Is this actually a crazy good deal on a great gpu? Or did I just get totally scammed? Oh god please tell me I didn’t get scammed again...

The RX580 8GB is one of the best Radeon cards ever made.

If you are gaming at 1080p, a Radeon RX 580 series is awesome, for me that is. I've been using it for 3 years and still quite capable to play current titles.

for people looking to buy this: -- overwatch players, this runs very smoothly with high fps on max graphics, no frame skips, it is great. -- Minecraft players this gpu is great for its price, you can run up to 500 fps with this gpu on a pvp texture pack with mid graphics. -- R6S players, this gpu runs around 150 - 200 fps in game, with med - high graphics. - Warzone players, this gpu will run warzone at a low - med fps rate, but decently smooth with slight to none fps skips.

I think 8gb has become the norm but top 5 on steam is still 4-6gb. You've also got the Switch 2 taking its time, APU handhelds gaining popularity, 1080p still dominating, the looming recession and GPU prices going up again ... I think studios have a lot of reasons to make their minimum specs 4-6gb for some time yet.

That is a brilliant buy. So much performance for so little money. You really don't need more.

Not bad at all. Yeah it's an older GPU but it's still supported, and from the looks of things, still running really well. Performance wise, it's on par w/ the 1650S / 6500xt and it has double the vram of those cards. Solid find.

If I had to guess, the brush probably intended to clean PCI Express slot of your motherboard. Just in case somebody plug it in on their old-dust-infested of a PC.
If anything, I'd say that is a thoughtful and good will of a gesture from them.
Also, personally I'd consider it as a solid GPU. For 70 bucks? That's a steal!
Now I kinda want to see what Buildzoid has to say should he has one of these in hand.

I got one of this cards, tho MLSSE branded. It may be the same supplier as it looks pretty much the same as this one (8pin power conector, but that just enables a bit of OC).

I was originally searching for replacement fans for an xfx 480 (current ones can't spin that fast no more), thought it might be worth the trip when I stumbled on the product page. What I got surpassed the old 480

From what I understand, these are remanufactured cards made out of salvaged cores mostly from mining GPUs. I've seen many models, ranging from 3080 to these 580 2048sp. 580 2048sp, 5600xt, 6600m, 5700xt are readily available (at least for the time being)

They seem to be good options, except for the nvidia non standard skus (such as desktop 3060m) as those can't use regular drivers.

Wow, pretty amazing performance. I would be interested to see how this performs running more recent emulation titles. I am in the market to build a PC that runs Launchbox exclusively, and this GPU may be the answer for the graphics without spending a ton of money. Thanks for the excellent benchmark tests.
I have seen rumors online that the included brush is to brush on Sriracha Chili which will make it run faster. I don't know if I believe it or not, but I wouldn't try it.

Thank You!!
I have an old Motherboard & CPU that needs some DDR2 ram sticks. But I've been avoiding that due to it not having onboard video (If it's the one I think it is).
This video gives me hope I'll be able to bring it back to life for a reasonable cost.

Bro 3 weeks ago i bought RX 580 2048 for like 120$, exactly to play The witcher 3, and i get (80-90) FPS on High settings, FSR2. I am so happy with this card, runs good for such a LOW price.

I have used a similar cards from peladin, and with Danish tax they cost 105-110 $ but this is amazing. It was great value 3 months ago but now its... Perfect...

Flashed my similar 2048sp with a compatible 580 bios, overclocked mine and works well at 1344mhz/2000mhz and undervolted at 1050mv bought at Shoppee

I was gaming with an HP ITX RX 480 4GB until last year and the 4 GB wasn't really an issue. The i5-6402p was the limiting factor in that build, even though it held up amazingly well for an older 4 core (no HT) CPU. I got that RX 480 for 45 bucks shipped used in 2018. I thought I was buying a 4GB R7 450 for a cheap low power GPU to throw in an old Dell to give to somebody needing a PC (and that card would at least let them do some gaming- 720p and older/casual games). but then that HP ITX RX 480 arrived. It wasn't what I wanted for the old Dell, but my original RX 480 died on my gaming PC about the same time so I just swapped that one in. Best 45 bucks I ever spent. Thing is tiny too. It's now in another system I gave away (after thoroughly cleaning the card)- so it lives on. Reminds me of my first AMD/ATI card- the HD 5670 1GB. That card was usable for a very long time and I got it cheap open box- like under 60 bucks.

Looks like a good deal, However you are limited by CPU cache (12M) in the games that require rendering complex animations and npcAI such as horizon and red dead, case in point 5800x3d's insane performance. there is not much difference between the two at stock clocks and power settings. I have two MSI 580's in a X79 1680 v2 @4.4 using them for 4 years now overclocked. Still blows me away, the drivers/performance got better and better as they aged. When using FSR 2.X you can get some impressive 4K results. Horizon Zero run at 75-60 fps for me on one overclocked genuine 580. CP77 at 60 average at 1080p medium/high with FSR quality.

I have built several systems for the local iRacing league using RX570 GPUs with great success, Im a fan of them in their price to performance
