This is a GTX 1060 6GB equivalent, which means you can play A LOT of games. Everything released up to 2021 or so will work perfectly fine at 1080p. Don't look at benchmarks thinking _"Only 47 fps...", _ because they use antialiasing 8x or some ridiculous setting. You never need more than 2x or 4x, which bumps it up to a solid 60 fps.

I got the one you feature before the RX 6600M for USD 180 shipped, I was impressed with the thermal and the build quality. I don't know this generic GPU until you talk about it.

I got the VRGMPL brand for around 70$ too. Kinda happy with it considering I upgraded from simply using APU graphics from a 2200g.
Currently running it with a ryzen 2600. Planning to upgrade to the 51risc 5700xt some time soon since it only costs around 175$ but I'm still waiting for a sale.

I find the temperatures on this variant of the card particularly good, despite the cooling system. Their cooler looks much poorer than of a regular 580: it seems to use a solid aluminium slab instead of a fin stack to contact the heat pipes, limiting the amount of air that can go effectively through the fins.

I must’ve gotten very lucky with my RX 580 4gb. Got it “refurbished” from Newegg for $120 usd back in 2019 and is still working great! My only big issue with it was that is was hard crashing to black screen with fans going to max speed. Tried every troubleshooting tip, and eventually figured out that my psu had a power delivery issue through the pcie power which the 580 didn’t like (take this with a grain of salt if you will). I swapped out my psu for a higher end model and haven’t had that issue in years

I wouldn't even buy these cards used, not when brand new GPU are coming down in price. Remember that your time is the most important thing you have, wasting it on these potential duds will end up costing you in the end.

A friend of mine got it from aliexpress from a fraction of the price compared from inside the country. The dvi output was not working but got fixed at a computer shop, apart from that the card is working flawlessly. He got a SZMZ model, looks very cool and runs as cool as ice.

I recently got an used MSI gaming X 580 for a bit over $70. Even if you advise to stay away from used GPUs, in my country getting anything new is most of the time out of the question (the same card you are reviewing costs around $250 USD here). So, as a replacement for my single fan 3gb 1060 that dropped clocks all day because of temperature, it was a good idea. Clocks are stable and I was able to drop 90mv during and undervolt and the thing remains stable. I don't know how long will it last but for the time is doing the job

i just upgraded from the rx 580 to the rtx 3080. I was getting 60 fps on 1440 with the 580 on MW2. The card served me well and will serve my daughter well in her fist roblux rig when we build it!
