Ford GT40 Mk2 - Amazing V8 Engine Sounds!

This video features a very rare and original Ford GT40 mkII being pushed fast around SPA-Francorchamps! The noise coming out the V8 engine was just unbelievable, pretty exciting to see these old glories in action!

I just don't understand why everyone titles this car as a MK2 in videos when it's a MK1.

The MK2 has the 7 Litre Engine and different bodywork.

Loved the revs and 2:25. Awesome video but this GT40 is actually the 2nd version of the mk1. 3:28 there's another one in the legendary Gulf livery.

That's not a Mk II. A Mk II can mostly be identified by the raised scoops on top of the engine cowling. Also, it doesn't sound like a 427, which the Mk II had. If it is in fact an original, it has to be a Mk I, with a 289.

When Enzo Ferrari told Henry Ford II where he could go after Henry offered to purchase Enzo's company. You get this car instead of slap in the face. Better this way, the GT40 family of cars are an amazing bunch of racing cars.
