Music has the capacity to portray some of the darkest, strangest, or most unnerving emotions of any medium. Anyone can make music about anything, and that opens up many possibilities. I commend you Gearisko for actually finding some unnerving songs that aren't covered much, unlike other disturbing song videos who seem to copy/paste each other, please do listen to Ballad Of Worms and The Subtle Art Of A Breakup Song by Cage, he's slept on and his music can be really dark.

I feel like one of the reasons why music can be unnerving is because the song is so sloppily put together but it still has melody
It feels like it's an attempt at emulating music, it feels like someone is trying to make something beautiful but lacks the understanding of what makes something beautiful so it tries to replicate beauty to blend in

I never thought of the Mt Pyre theme as creepy/unsettling, I've always found it to be cool actually, would be fitting in a deep tropical jungle adventure setting with the birds and monkeys making noise far away

Secrets of Wysteria (the Vocaloid song about that one serial killer who I forgot the name of. Story only becomes clear when you play it in reverse) would be good for this but maybe that’s just my opinion

The first song is disgusting with trying to defend Campbell. He sexually assaulted a woman and then a few years later murdered her and her young daughter in "revenge" because she testified against him in court after he was caught. He was released a few years later and that's when they were murdered. People wanting to get "his" side of the story is sickening. NO ONE should be on his side. He got what he deserved.

and not a song, but the band Mayhem had at least 1 member commit suicide, a second get murdered by another band member, and then the murderer would get arrested for plotting to attack a far left meeting hall with explosives and guns, and also advocated for a form of nazi paganism
