3:18 hey Brazilian here. There was a urban legend that Fofão’s doll had a knife inside him, and that the doll would make kids kill they’re parents

What scares me more is a puppet show with no humans at all, it’s like their own world where they are alive and have no one controlling them, that just gives me the chills

A couple years ago, I got fascinated by Morso from this, and did some research about him and where he was from.
He was actually intended to look creepy in order to teach kids to not judge someone by appearance.
And after watching a few episodes with English subs, he is actually super wholesome.
He acts like a wise little old man. He also gives me vibes that he would frequently bake pastries. In the third episode, he even gets a postcard from his mom.
And he’s actually self aware that some find him scary, someone said that there is a scene where he wails at himself in the mirror, but I have yet to see it.
Honestly I love the little guy, you can find some episodes here on YouTube. There’s three seasons, but I only found the rest on a paid Finnish streaming site.

Small Update: Ok I found this pic a few months ago, it’s low quality because *cough* Facebook. But it shows someone holding a life sized Morso doll/puppet, even putting his glasses on him. Morso is so tiny! He’s like the size of a cereal box. He would use a stool and just barely be able to open a door. I’m sorry but I can’t help but fawn over his size. In the first episode when he arrives at Donkey’s house, even his own suitcase is bigger than him.
*hehe tiny fuzzy Finnish man go brrr*

The original actor of Mr. Noseybonk hated Ashens from using the character.

But if you want creepy kids shows from the UK, check out Chalton and the Wheelies or "wordsworth" from Look & Read.

“You can be naughty with a glove puppet, can’t you MICHAEL?!!??!”

Biggest jumpscare of my life

It's weird to think that all those costumes and puppets are somewhere in storage, in a dark room, just waiting.

As a Frenchman who grew up watching Téléchat (which is pronounced "telesha", by the way) I can tell that the baby was one of the most disturbing part of the show, and the phone was a good one too. But overall, every talking objects that appeared in this show looked and sounded very creepy.

Some info about Morso. The name of the show is basically "A donkey, a morso and a cat". It centers around a donkey who's afraid of a fictitious species called morsos. The show is based on a series of Finnish childrens books, in which Morso was illustrated as a rat. However the creators of the tv show intentionally made Morso a whole different scary looking creature, to teach that you shouldn't judge anyone by their looks.

I had the Fofão doll, and one day one of its eyes rolled up in its face and now matter what I did, it wouldn't go back to normal. I glued sunglasses onto its face.

as a Dutchie, I did not expect to see Karbonkel in here because well he’s from a dutch show. He’s one of the most memable dutch characters (or at least with Dutchies who are a little older, most younger teens only know him from the memes but not the actual show itself)

6:14 I actually used to think the Groke was cute. She's just sad and lonely because no one likes her. Poor girl 😢. She's so misunderstood and lonely.

Rat'afak is actually a really good character. This show was created to help kids going through war and make them happier during the dark times. The clip where it's dancing around is not the actual show. Two men had found the puppet and used it to make a creepy video. The origin is actually heartwarming because the puppet told kids about how to stay safe and what's good or bad.
Thank you for all the likes! I’m happy to see people’s opinion change :)

12:01 the bear character is churning butter for anyone confused about the box thing :)

Edit: some people have responded to this saying that it's a manual coffee grinder, and they are correct! I don't think that I knew what it was, so I was comparing it to what I've seen in my own life :)

I had the pleasure of writing some music for Peppermint Park. In fact, "I'm So Blue" was one of mine.
There were a few songs I wrote that were good songs that I can't find anywhere. Have no clue what they did with them. We never got to see the show before we wrote the music.
This is quite an honor. :)

I remember being in French Class and my teacher put on Telefrancais. The pineapple became a meme throughout the whole school.

These things are naturally scary but this “old tv/ vhs” quality makes it even worse

3:19 it's worth noting that in Brazil, there's this urban legend that spread on late 90s early 00s about Fofão, which had some lines of toys, these were said to have knives hidden inside them.
