I’m a cdl driver and my violation ticket says unsafe when turned/ involved in crash accident but the trooper was not even on site until after the fact… he only went by he said she said .. I’m really thinking of pleading not guilty, taking it to trial by jury because he wasn’t there to witness anything and if he doesn’t show up I think my case will be dismissed but I’m risking it all…any feed back would be appreciated

Do you prosecute when the police officer has no evidence of a traffic violation other than his word? Because that's something that has been coming up a lot. I'm tired of watching people get arrested or convicted of subjective crimes. Too many times police officers are are writing tickets out of spite for a driver who may choose to invoke their rights. You as a lawyer need to try and put a stop to that practice.
