Senku Ishigami is a great Representative in anime from the show Dr. Stone, it is never explained that he is Aro/Ace but the signs are all there. And he still manages to be a human being on top of it and a very relatable character

Try for a moment to remember the root reason for Pride Month. There were no initials for people who considered themselves as a gay man or lesbian. After 1600+ years of persecution against homosexuality freedom looked promising. Today there are a few countries where homosexuals could face the death penalty. They are the ones who hold firmly to mythical texts from crazy old men who spent too much time in the desert. The adding of initials to the root reason has nothing to do with equality for gay men and lesbians.
