#1 tip i learned if you're gonna replace your old showerhead with a new one off amazon. Just keep the old one

Great video mate, helped me out. I just got a new shower head but it didn't come with any instructions at all. Not too complicated really I just wasn't clear on if I needed that tape or not or if I should remove the washers. When I installed it with the tape I got leaks, watched this and based on what you said removed the tape as mine had the washer and it worked flawlessly.

Well done sir. Funny enough I installed this very shower head from amazon.... however when i did it I added teflon to all the places you said not too, and of course i had issues. Now I can do it right this time haha.

Unfortunately the fitting that matters if it leaks, is the one you can't see.... perhaps better off not replacing arm unless absolutely necessary, and taking care not to jar/distort existing arm
