You have to delete it from your phone also. Once you try to pair it up to another phone after reset, it is going to recognize that it was paired to another phone and will not allow you to pair it up to a new one. I know this because I reset my phone, tried to return it to return it to the place of purchase (which they did not take back) and when I tried to pair again with my phone (clean pairing/start new) the phone gave me a message that my watch was already paired to another phone and needed to be deleted from that phone before pairing.

Just breathe hahaha I just reset my iPhone and FINALLY ALLOWING ME TO CONNECT TO MY APPLE WATCH AND UPDATE IT TO LATEST AND THEN CONNECT! I was about to go trans if I got a new one for life.
