The showdown of the smallest curling barrels from both hair stylers. Let’s see which hair dryer styler will perform throughout the day the best. Both Shark FlexStyle and Dyson Airwrap have small barrels that create tighter curls. In my opinion, if you have fine/thin hair that doesn’t hold curl or wave using either hair tool, try one of these barrels. Obviously, the curl from Shark styler will be a little bit more loose in comparison to Dyson Airwrap, but the results are incredible on both sides.

On the shark, you aren't suppose to wrap your hair in it though. You're suppose to let it suction it versus trying to wrap your hair in it manually. It helps letting it suction from the top and it'll bring the hair down the barell on its own.

I took a risk and bought the Shark, I have a Dyson blow dryer already, I love it, mostly use it to diffuse my naturally curly hair. But I really wanted the Airwrap and could not justify the cost. I am so thrilled with the Shark FlexStyle. I have great shine, volume, not frizz, my hair doesn't get too hot, I love that I can change the tools ( I purchased the bundle with the two barrels and the oval brush) and I was shocked. I like not using a metal or ceramic hot tool on my hair

I finally used the new .8 Airwrap barrel today. WOW! I have thin, fine hair and I just struggle sometimes to get my hair to curl. It worked so well and was SOOO easy!! I was so impressed. I use my Airwrap every time I do my hair, but rarely if ever curl it because I never really like the old barrels, having to switch them, etc. The new one is just so easy. If you haven't tried it, do.

Thanks so much for an awesome video complete with detailed instructions on how to use the small barrels. The end result is gorgeous with both styling tools! Would love to know how long the curls last before you need to wash / restyle. Also, for future videos, would love one on your favorite shampoo / conditioner for fine, thin hair.

I just got my Shark with five attachments for 240 pretax. Can’t wait. I can’t imagine spending 600 plus tax on a dyson. Yes it is better but not worth 2.5x the price .

Honest question: doesn’t this tools have the technology that wraps the hair “automatically” ? Why you keeps wrapping it manually? Really want to understand if that’s a reason, doesn’t it function well?

Why do you curl your hair with the cord facing the ceiling? I always have the cord parallel to the floor.

I literally stopped watching your video and ordered the new size shark barrels!! I am super excited for the new size option now I will actually be able to use my shark. My fine shoulder length hair looked awful with the bigger barrels. I do wish I would have just saved up the extra money and bought the dyson.
